I used to get these from Amazon and use their free shipping. They've recently disappeared. I loved having them around for that quick cup of coffee. They don't make the world's best cup, just something to get you by when you don't want to make a full pot.I want my Mellitas back, Amazon.
The Melitta coffee pods, Love at First Sip, have a good medium roast flavor. They are very convenient when you only want a cup of coffee quickly, or when you are alone and don't want to make a whole pot. The clean-up is simple -- toss the pod in the trash. A good, solid brew for those times when you just need a cup or two.
Having also used the Black and Decker single serve coffee pot, the Melitta is far better built, makes much better coffee, and is easier to use.
Love At First Sip is a mild, but pleasant tasting coffee. No bitterness; however, I prefer a darker, bolder coffee.
I usually go for "Buzzworthy", but since my hubby likes "Love at First Sip", I decided to give it a go. I can see why he loves it so (he drinks his coffee black, no sugar), and even though I usually drink mine as a latté, the medium roast was delicious.but I'll still stick with the extra buzz of "Buzzworthy" to get me going in the morning.
